Senior System Linux Engineer (Kyiv only, remote, full-time, the possibility to relocate to Lithuania)

Our client, who developed first VPN application for iOS devices, is looking for a Senior System Linux Engineer. In 2018,comapy underwent an external audit by a German cybersecurity firm but just for their browser extensions. Company has 3200+ servers in 65 countries.

Requirements:

scripting: Go, Python, PHP, Perl

cloud: AWS

configuration management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt (we use Ansible)

containers: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), LXC

monitoring: InfluxDB, Telegraf, ElasticSearch, Nagios / Naemon, Grafana

databases: MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB

As a plus:

cybersecurity knowledge/experience

networking knowledge (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv4, Firewalls, Network Security, VPN protocols, L2/L3 networking, routing protocols, etc.)

Зони відповідальності: the team takes care of VPN infrastructure, non-VPN infrastructure, streaming services.

Currently: > 3k virtual servers, >1.5k physical servers

Команда: 5 sysadmins (mid-senior), 2 network engineers (mid/senior), 7 junior sysadmin (in another department, working 24/7), 1 PM, 1 service manager, 1 data analyst, 1 procurement manager.

Possibility to relocate to Lithuania (the company supports during the relocation processes).

Interview stages:

1. The interview consists of two parts - technical (60 minutes) and HR (45 minutes). We can organize them one by one in one day or two on separate days - depending on the wishes of the candidate.
